- Engine management tuning by appointment
This is our speciality. We can tune just about any piece of engine management
software to get the most out of your setup. We can make arrangements
with our affiliate dyno shops in your area (preferred), or do a street
tune. Although most of our work takes place in the greater Washington
D.C. metro area, we can travel to your location given the proper arrangements
are made.

Prior to your dyno session, you MUST be sure that you and your
car are properly prepared. Follow this simple checklist PRIOR to your
session and you will get the best bang for your buck when it comes time
to tune:
- Don't rush. Performing a major modification to your car the day
before a big race and expecting it to be tuned to the max is just
asking for trouble. We encounter more engine and/or part failures
as a result of this scenario than any other.
- Solder and wrap any electrical wiring
- Check/replenish all fluids and belts
- Perform a compression test and/or boost leak test to ensure no
leaks
- Bring at least one extra set of fresh/clean spark plugs in the appropriate
heat range for your application
Average cost of AEM EMS tune: $400.00*
S-AFC or DSMLink tune 200*
EVO flash base tune: $100; road tune: $250; dyno tune: $300*
- Transmission rebuilds & upgrades
Having learned from the best in the business on how to break a dsm, we can take your grinding,
clunky old DSM transmission and make it shift like new again. Obliterated
your trans at the track? No problem. The cost of a rebuild depends entirely
on what your particular transmission needs, but it will start with labor
to disassemble/reassemble it.
Transmission disassembly/reassembly: $250
- Engine rebuilds & upgrades
Anything from mild to wild. We have the facilities to remove, rebuild,
and install your engine all in one place! We work fast, too. Towing
for disabled cars to our shop is available on a limited basis. We specialize
in 1G engine swaps into 2Gs, a popular choice among 2G owners. Labor
for engine swaps (removal and installation only) is given below.

- Clutch and turbo installations
Clutch swap for 1G/2G DSMs: $300 + misc. parts
Clutch swap for EVO: $600 + misc. parts
- Custom fabrication
With TIG and MIG welding equipment on hand, we have a solution to your
fabrication needs; everything from custom downpipes and exhausts to
aluminum catch tanks and valve cover breather fittings.
- Labor Caveat
For engine and transmission rebuilds, you MUST cover the cost of
parts up front before we will do any work. This protects us from folks
who decide to back out of a rebuild and leave us with a hefty parts
bill.

the dynometer used for tuning. Initial pricing is based around a set
dyno fee negotiated between our affiliated dyno facilities.
